www.marfleet.co.uk a MARFLEET Family History web-page

From the earliest recorded history and the humble twelfth century beginnings, in the reign of King Stephen (1134-1154), when Adam de Marflete granted a building with its parcel of land to his brother Simon, the influence and evidence of activity of the MARFLEET family has extended to every continent of the world and the seas and oceans inbetween. For over eight hundred years pioneers and explorers, emigrants, military men (and women) and missionaries, to name but a few, have helped to shape our world by leaving an indelible impression on Europe, India, Asia, Indonesia, the Antipodes, Africa, North and South America, Western Samoa and Canada.
